Santa Lucia Gallery: FIP MEC partner of excellence for Europe's longest tunnel

On 18 March 2022 the new section of the A1 motorway was inaugurated, linking Barberino of Mugello and Firenze Nord for 17.5 kilometres, heading south. The jewel of the infrastructure is the Santa Lucia Gallery that, thanks to its length of 7,5 km, won the title of Europe's longest three-lane tunnel; thanks also to the contribution of FIP MEC S.r.l., which supplied the accessories and in particular the gaskets and guidance rods for the precast segments.
